Andy Murray reaches Second Round of Metz Open

Britain’s Andy Murray yesterday progressed to the second round of the French Metz Tennis Open after a scare in the second set.

Plexicushion Surface for Australian Tennis Open

The Australian Tennis Open will be using a new blue indoor surface, replacing the traditional green Rebound Ace courts in use at Melbourne Park since 1988. The new court surface is called Plexicushion and is expected to create a consistently medium-paced game play.
