Tim Henman is about to take his final bow tomorrow at the famous south west London tennis club, Wimbledon; as he gets ready for his final games as a member of Great Britain’s Davis Cup team to play Croatia.

As usual the English weather may have a part to play, as rain has been forecast on Wimbledon - the Home of Tennis, as usual . I’m sure this doesn’t surprise Henman, nor any readers.

Henman is now 33 years old and though his form has dipped dramatically over past two years he is still Britain’s no.2, though this i feel has more to say about the state of tennis in this country than Henman’s ability to still play with the best.

Let’s hope the sun shines on Wimbledon and Tim Henman tomorrow, just one last time.
